A space for corporate professionals to feel seen, understood, and share their own Workland stories.
None of these rules will ever make it into an onboarding deck, and maybe that’s the point. They’re not policies, they’re patterns.
Patterns in how trust gets built and broken, how reputations get written before you’ve said much at all, how the loudest voice in the room isn’t always the truest one, how the better you are at X, the harder it becomes for anyone to imagine you doing Y.

Whether you’re three weeks in or three years deep, the workland is the same: not to memorize five rules and call it done, but to keep watching - a little more closely, a little more kindly, especially for the ones still writing themselves around you.

Which one hit closest to home for you? DM me and I’ll be featuring a few in an upcoming post. Your story might just become someone else’s “oh wait, that’s happened to me too.”

#WorkplaceCulture #CorporateLife #UnwrittenRules #WorkPsychology #LittleMoreToWorklandWorkplaces aren’t just built on processes, goals and performance reviews.

They’re also built on a thousand tiny moments:
- Being included in a conversation
- Getting invited to lunch
- Being thought of when plans are made
- Feeling like you belong

And when one of these moments doesn’t happen, it’s easy to take it personally.

What I found interesting in the book Let Them by @melrobbins is that it shifts the question from:
“Why did they do that?”
to
“What do I want to do with this feeling?”

Because the real challenge isn’t managing other people’s actions; it’s managing the meaning we attach to them.

#littlemoretoworkland #corporatelife #workculture #workplacepsychologySomewhere along the corporate journey, many of us unknowingly merge our entire identity with work.
And slowly… the role stops being something we do and becomes who we are.

That’s why:
* free time fills with boredom than excitement
* layoffs feel identity-shattering
* and career breaks trigger guilt instead of rest

Psychologically, over-identification with work can pose serious mental health issues.

The healthiest professionals usually build an identity portfolio:
* work
* hobbies
* relationships
* curiosity
* health
* creativity
* purpose outside productivity

Maybe the goal isn’t “work-life balance.”
Maybe it’s identity balance.

I’ve made a free Identity Portfolio template for your ease. Grab it - link in bio

#CorporateLife #WorkCulture #WorkplacePsychology #EmployeeExperienceA role-based Organization isn’t about removing designations. It’s about redefining contributions.

That’s the shift Organizations are aiming for.

But are we there yet?.. Because real transformation begins when systems change, not just vocabulary

#RoleBased #WorkplaceEvolution #peoplestrategy #littlemoretoworklandWhen people walk out of your Organisation for the last time…Are they leaving with closure, or just clearance?💭
